The Australian Institute for Performing Arts (AIPA) provides an after school pick up from Artarmon Public School with a walk service to AIPA through the school year. This service operates everyday Artarmon Public School is open.

Known as Fit and Fun (established in 2014), this OOSH style programme is a wonderful opportunity for students from Artarmon Public School to attend AIPA after school with a convenient pick up service assisting working parents. Programmes include performing arts classes, homework time, Creation Station* outdoor time and other activities. The programme has three pick up times from AIPA of 4pm, 5pm and 6pm. (For extended pickup hours through to 6.30pm please email theschool@aipa.com.au and organise a time to discuss with the AIPA office).
AIPA offers extension classes for upper primary on Monday, Wednesday and Friday till 7pm.
Our programme is guided by the principles, practices and outcomes of the approved learning framework, My Time Our Place.
Walk Service
AIPA is fortunate enough to be within an 800 (10 minute) walk of Artarmon Public School. Walking brings many benefits for primary age children including but not limited to physical health, general wellbeing and emotional wellbeing – a wonderful way to de-stress after a long day at school. AIPA staff walking with the children sets a good example of physical health.
Uniform
Students wear a uniform while they are at AIPA for classes so they can fully participate in the activity. The basic uniform consists of a blue or black AIPA t-shirt and black leggings, shorts or pants and appropriate shoes for class. For more information see the AIPA Uniform FACT Sheet.
Trial classes including pick up from Artarmon Public School
AIPA offers trials of all classes, this also includes trialling the after-school pickup from Artarmon Public School. We offer free afternoons of classes* with the walk included for $13 (pick up fee)
Parents are welcome to bring their child to AIPA to trial other days of the week at no cost.

Payment Plans
Payment plans are offered to all parents and must be organised before your child commences classes.
Payment plan dates are Monday of week 1, 3, 5 and 7 of the school term. Credit card or bank information is uploaded in the parent portal on smart central and automatically charged by the system or manually charged via the AIPA Office.
Notice period
We have a four week notice period for change of enrolment.

IMPORTANT : When enrolling for before school programmes or after school pick up please follow these instructions.
When enrolling your child for before school or after school pick up and classes, please choose from the following:
ASP Kindy to Year 6 (4pm) M – F and tick the days you require
ASP Kindy to Year 6 (5pm) M – F and tick the days you require
ASP Kindy to Year 6 (6pm) M – F and tick the days you require
BSP Kindy to Year 6 (7.30am) Tue & Wed and tick the days you require
Please do not also choose the classes/activities your child will enrol in otherwise the system will double bill you.
If you are also enrolling your child in classes such as Acting in Motion or Performance Stream on Saturdays, please choose those classes/programmes. If you need assistance at any stage, please call the AIPA office.
