Angelo Marasigan

Angelo Marasigan

The 19-year-old from Sydney’s north-west isn’t your typical teenager. Sure, he’s a student, but he’s also a director, an editor, a comic, and an actor, but you won’t see him at the movies or in a theatre. Instead, if you want to see the masterpieces Marasigan makes, you’ll have to jump on TikTok, where he has just under 5 million followers.

He is a rising social media star famous for his engaging content on TikTok and Instagram. He is best known for his skits, acting performances, impressions, and more. He made his TikTok debut in late 2019 with the video “Things that will happen to you in 2020.”

Ashleigh has toured with “Green Days American Idiot The Musical” (Shake ‘n Stir), played the role of Sandy in “Grease The Arena Experience” (Harvest Rain Theatre) and travelled to New Zealand to take on the lead role, Lillith in the world premiere of “Pleasuredome the Musical.

Ashleigh performed the role of Ellen in Packemin Production’s “Miss Saigon” winning her the Broadway World Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical, next taking on the principal role of Elphaba in Packemin Productions “Wicked”, earning her a GLUG Award nomination.

On television Ashleigh has made guest appearances on “Home and Away” (Channel 7), “Deadly Women” (Beyond Productions) and “Underbelly” (Channel 9)”.

Danielle Macdonald

Danielle Macdonald

Audiences know Danielle for her breakout role as ‘Patti’ in Fox Searchlight’s Patti Cake$ as well as the title character opposite Jennifer Aniston in Dumplin’. Macdonald also appeared opposite Sandra Bullock in Netflix’s runaway hit, Bird Box. Additionally, she starred in Netflix’s Unbelievable which has garnered critical acclaim and a Golden Globe nomination. The Savannah Film Festival honoured her in 2019 where she received the Rising Star Award. Macdonald recently played the iconic role of Lillian Roxon in the film I Am Woman.

She next stars in the romantic comedy Falling For Figaro and also appears in the Sony Pictures film, French Exit, where she stars alongside Michelle Pfeiffer. Most recently she starred in HBO Max series, The Tourist, opposite Jamie Dornan.

In December 2017, Scanlen was included as one of The Hollywood Reporter’s “10 Rising Television Stars” and in October 2018 she received the Breakthrough Award from Australians In Film.

Other credits include; Beth March in Director Greta Gerwig’s drama, “Little Women,” in which she stars opposite Meryl Streep, Timothée Chalamet, Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, and Florence Pugh. Netflix’s “The Devil All The Time” opposite Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson, and the indie Australian feature “Babyteeth”.

Emmanuelle (she/they) is an actor, writer and maker with a passion for telling stories that blend the playful with the political, and a love of young, queer audiences. Her debut work as a playwright, Trophy Boys, played to sold-out audiences at La Mama’s Explorations Season, before returning for another sold-out season as part of Midsumma Festival at 45Downstairs in early 2023.

Best known for playing the lead role of Marnie in three seasons of the International Emmy nominated tween series Mustangs FC (ABCMe x Matchbox Pictures), other performance credits include The Messenger (ABC), Ms Fisher’s MODern Murder Mysteries (Acorn TV) and Clickbait (Netflix).

Australian Actress Gemma Chua- Tran made her acting debut in Like a Lamb to the Slaughter. Gemma is currently playing the character “Sasha So” in Netflix’s Heartbreak High.

Giorgia Kennedy is a Colombian/ Trinidadian Australian actor, singer and dancer. She has received her Bachelor of Performing Arts (Musical Theatre) from the Western Australia Academy of the Performing Arts (WAAPA) and a Diploma of Music (Musical Theatre) from the Australian Institute of Music.

She currently plays Judith and understudies Juliet Capulet in the Australian production of & Juliet. In 2022, Giorgia toured with the Australian cast of Jagged Little Pill the Musical.

Hayley has also appeared Australian productions including “Home & Away”, “All Saints”, “Rescue Special Ops”, “Out of the Blue”, “Tumblegum”, “Jack & Jill”, “Pocket Money” and played Lisa and Sophie U/S in the 10th Anniversary Australian Tour of smash hit ‘Mamma Mia!’. Hayley lives in L.A. and divides her time working between Australia and the US.

Liv Hewson

Liv Hewson

Liv Hewson is an Australian actor and playwright.

They starred as Abby Hammond in the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet from 2017 to 2019. Since 2021 they have been portraying Van Palmer in the Showtime series Yellowjackets.

Their written work includes “lots of re-imaginings of fairytales and mythology with a queer and dark slant.”

Matt Castley is an Australian actor. In 2013, Castley starred in the short films The Daytime Sun Chronicle and Old Molly. A year later he had a small role in the digital series Do You Mind?

He is best known for his portrayal as Ajax in the Nine Network drama series Doctor Doctor (2016-2021) starring Rodger Corser, and as Yogi in the OzFlix comedy-drama web series Blind (2019). He began studying film at New York University but returned to Australia following his casting in Doctor Doctor.

In 2017, Mojean Aria became the first ever unsigned recipient of the Heath Ledger Scholarship, as well as being the first from a multi-cultural background. Soon after, Mojean went on to star in the limited series Dead Lucky opposite Rachel Griffiths. In early 2019, Mojean appeared in SEE on Apple TV+, directed by Francis Lawrence (Hunger Games), produced by Chernin Entertainment (Hidden Figures) and starring Jason Momoa (Aquaman).

In early 2021, Mojean played the villain opposite Hugh Jackman’s hero in Warner Brothers sci-fi Reminiscence.
Set for release on September 23rd 2022 is The Enforcer, Mojean’s first starring role in a US studio feature and his co-lead being the legendary Antonio Banderas.

NICK BURTON

Nicholas recently completed filming on SBS Drama SAFE HOME set to be released in May 2023. He is currently working on Disney+ series THE ARTFUL DODGER, alongside David Thewlis, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Tim Minchin and Maia Mitchell. This year he also starred in a feature film produced by Dev Patel titled KNOT.

Nicholas can currently be seen on Australian ABC drama series BARONS and US Netflix series PIECES OF HER opposite Toni Collette, Jessica Barden, Omari Hardwick and David Wenham.

Rahel has worked professionally in Film, Television and Theatre since the age of 13 and has continuously grown the plethora of experience he has built in Australia.

Rahel won the prestigious Heath Ledger Scholarship in 2022, making him the 11th recipient of the richest acting prize in Australia. He was nominated for an AACTA and Logie award for his complex portrayal of a troubled youth in The Principal and has starred in multiple Australian and US films and TV shows.

Other credits include; Shantaram opposite Charlie Hunnam, Mr Inbetween starring Scott Ryan, Wolf like Me starring Josh Gad and Isla Fisher and many more.

Sam Martin

Sam Martin is a trained performer in the disciplines of dance, singing, and acting, specialising in music theatre, theatre, and screen acting. Sam has trained extensively from a young age and his theatre credits include Rainbow’s Ending (ATYP), Mr. Mayor in Seussical Jr. (KPG), High School Musical 2: OnStage!, Nate in Camp Rock: The Musical (AIPA) and, Jafar in Aladdin Jr. (AIPA). Sam also has many screen credits including playing leading roles in the miniseries The Centre and the short film Like a Lamb to the Slaughter.

After graduating from WAAPA, most recently, Sam was a cast member in The Other End of the Afternoonand is now playing Luke in Jumpers for Goalposts, New Theatre.

Stef Dawson has a passion for female driven, diverse and complex stories that shine the light on our humanity to find beauty in the broken bits. Selected as one of 8 women for the Australian International Women in Screen Workshop New York, led by female film and television professionals, she has now transitioned to writer and filmmaker as well as acting.

Zara Rattue

After working as a producer in Sydney since 2012, Zara Joined the 9 Network in 2014 and moved to the Darwin for an adventure in the Top End and to report on issues in some of the most rural yet beautiful parts of the country. Moving to Brisbane, Zara worked as a crime and general reporter, covering bush fires, floods and cyclones up and down the Queensland Coast before moving home to Sydney and back to seaside to Sydney’s northern beaches where she grew up.

Zara studied an Arts and Science degree at the University of Sydney and Journalism at The University of Technology, Sydney. Zara previously worked at Network Ten. Zara now works as a general news reporter and presenter at Nine News Sydney.
